Really looking forward to the 50 year reunion. As the work for planning the reunion comes together and we make progress in finding ways to contact all our classmates my mind continues to dredge up "memories" of those days of fifty years ago. All memories include a feeling (or feelings) that is the chemical signature recorded from some past experience. As we willfully, consciously, and mindfully activate the memory of the event gone by, the moment we remember we create the same feelings. Those feelings make the body feel like it did when the experience actually happened. Perhaps I just want to relive the feelings of my past moments of glory, because in my present moments, nothing new or stimulating is happening. However, the past fifty years have been filled with memorable moments. Those years are filled with memorable moments with their own distinct signatures emblazoned in my mind. Marriage, children, career, all interspersed with episodes of successes and challenges that were pleasurable but sometimes difficult. But, I must say, that my high schoold days bring back a nostalgia that is basically filled with enjoyable, pleasing, gratifying and delightful memories. Jon frequently chides me when I begin a conversation with, "Do you remember...?" As I refer to the 67 yearbook and recall the faces, and match the youthful face with my memories of the person, so many of those times, places and events bring back to mind the congenial life we all shared. At this point several of us have remarked that we all did receive an excellent education from AHS and I must agree. I guess we were all lucky to be in the right place at the right time. One of the very gratifying means of regenerating those old memories is the bi-monthly lunches we have which helps immensely with the fifty-year reunion project. Seeing you all again after all the years in between is very satisfying to me and I treasure the friendships of a lifetime that all of you were such a big part of. My hope is; that as you all visit the website, see the comments from classmates, and that you will make a serious effort to partake in and share the fellowship and camaraderie that is yours for the taking by attending our reunion. For me seeing you all again brings back a very pleasant time in my life even if it is just for a short visit back into the past. Thanks TD
